Ship Repair and Hull Maintenance Shop Commissioned
A new facility named the ship repair and hull maintenance shop has been put into operation. The building of the shop was built by modern frame-panel construction technology. The shop has a stand-alone heating system and poured flooring. The facility is equipped with a full set of ship repairing machines including: general purpose mill center, a DIP-300 lathe, high-precision FT-11 lathe, general purpose grinder, extended base DIP-500 lathe, 100 ton hydraulic press. The operation of the shop will significantly reduce the cost and expedite the manufacture of spare parts for maintenance of ship’s hulls and motor-rudder systems during the winter repairing.
